Ever wonder what type of dog the top Canadian universities would be based on their reputation? We did…
Every dog has a personality, whether it be based on their breed, or that’s just who they are. Take my dog for example (Boston Terrier x Pug). She’s wild, crazy, loyal, stubborn, and so dang cute all wrapped into 20 pounds. She has specific quirks to her that make her unique. You could take all those traits and describe a person. So, why not compare them to a university?
As you decide which university to attend in the fall, why not consider their dog type? Based off of Maclean’s ratings of Canada’s top universities by reputation, and what Urban Dictionary says about them, we compared seven universities to their four-legged furry counterpart.

Kailey graduated with a degree in Journalism and Religious Studies from the University of Regina, Saskatchewan. Now she lives a double life in Manitoba – writer by day and dance teacher by night. When she’s not at her computer, you’ll find her curled up with a glass of red wine and knitting, or obsessively taking photos of her puppy.🐶🐾
